2019 Writers in Residence Launch Evening

8th October - 8th October 2018

6pm for 6.30pm

Join us at the National Liberal Club in London for the official launch of our 2019 Writers in Residence programme.

Now into its eighth year, the Writers in Residence scheme was established by Gladstone’s Library and award-winning author of Maggie and Me, Damian Barr. Damian writes columns for the Big Issue and High Life and often appears on BBC Radio 4. He is creator and host of
his own Literary Salon that premieres work from established and emerging writers.

On this official launch evening, hear the winning authors read from the work and talk about their writing lives. The winning writers will be announced at Gladfest on 7th September.

Tickets are priced at £15 which includes a glass of wine and nibbles. To book please call Reception on 01244 532350 or email enquiries@gladlib.org.

Please note, the Club's dress code is jacket and tie for men. No t-shirts, vests, denim or trainers are permitted.
