Our cosy Food for Thought bistro seats up to 50 people in a relaxing setting.

We operate table service, so please introduce yourself at Reception or when you enter Food for Thought. 


Lunch (served noon to 2pm) and the treats menu (available 10am-noon and 2pm to 5pm) are available to non-residential guests.We encourage pre-booking for lunch as we can often be very busy. Booking is essential if you are arriving in a group of four or more. You can call us on 01244 532 350 or email [email protected].We provide multiple gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options and we can cater for diners with restricted diets, but do check with us first to be sure . Please inform us of any allergies at the time of booking. Menus below.

Treats are available at Food for Thought from 10am to noon, and from 2pm to 5pm. You can request to take hot drinks and cakes in the Gladstone Room, subject to availability. Treats should be ordered from the till at Food for Thought.
