Such was the success of our Sponsor-a-Shelf scheme that most shelves in both the Theology and History Rooms now bear the names of people who supported this initiative so generously.
We are very grateful to everyone who made a contribution.
We know that many of you are keen to see your sponsored shelf or shelves in person so have put a number of measures in place to facilitate this safely.
Since re-opening, our Reading Rooms have been very busy with most desks in use much of the time.
In order to maintain a Covid-safe environment for everyone and to ensure minimal disruption for those using the Reading Rooms, we are asking people who wish to view their shelf or shelves and the Book of Thanks to make an appointment (Tuesday – Friday 9am – 5pm) with Rhian Waller on 01244 532350. You can also email [email protected].
By booking in advance, we can ensure that the desk nearest to your shelf is unoccupied and that a member of staff is available to accompany you.
Your shelf may be upstairs in the Gallery so please let us know if you are unable to manage the Reading Room stairs.
