Drop-in Gladfest Fringe

This year we are proud to transform our front lawns into a creative hub with the Gladfest Fringe – a carefully curated space bustling with FREE performances and stalls. Gladfest has worked with the Laura Ashley foundation to design a space with music, storytelling and open-mic poetry. No tickets, no booking, and no charge - come and give it a try!

The Fringe is open from 10am on Saturday and Sunday, and you’ll also be able to grab hot and cold refreshments! Entry is completely free!

Keep an eye on this page for additions and updates to the Fringe programme!

We're on the hunt for family-friendly performers of all kinds to showcase their talents at this year’s festival. If you are a singer, in a band, a comedian, a spoken word poet, if you spin plates, DJ, juggle, or do something we’ve never even heard of, we want you to come and be a part of our family-friendly festival and perform to over 2,000 people across the Gladfest weekend. Whatever your talent – we have the stage and we want you to come and take it. Please note that although we do not have the budget to pay for performances, we do have festival spirit aplenty plus an all-important tea / coffee!

Gladfest is also offering free stall spaces in return for demonstrations. Woodwork, sewing, sliversmithing - if you have a craft or a talent, we'd love you to come and share it with us.

Finally, we're reaching out to registered charities who would like a pitch at the festival in order to tell people about their work. Pitches are completely free but please note you will need to bring whatever you need with you – banners, chairs, tables – this offer is for a pitch only and there will be no access to electricity.

If you are interested in applying for any of the above, please contact Louisa Yates on 01244 532350 on louisa.yates@gladlib.org.

G?yl Ymylol Gladfest

Eleni, rydym yn falch iawn i drawsnewid ein lawntiau blaen yn hwb creadigol G?yl Ymylol Gladfest  – safle wedi'i guradu'n ofalus, yn llawn dop stondinau a pherfformiadau AM DDIM. Gallwch edrych ymlaen at sesiynau cyffrous yn cynnwys cerddoriaeth, adrodd straeon a barddoniaeth meic-agored a bydd yna weithdai creu, stondinau a chorau hefyd. Dim tocynnau, dim archebu a dim tâl – dewch i roi cynnig arno!

Mae'r ?yl Ymylol ar agor o 10am dydd Sadwrn a dydd Sul, a hefyd bydd lluniaeth poeth ac oer ar gael! Mae mynediad yn hollol rad ac am ddim!

Cadwch lygad ar y dudalen hon am ychwanegiadau a diweddariadau i raglen yr ?yl Ymylol.

Rydym yn edrych am berfformwyr o bob math a fydd yn addas i deuluoedd, i arddangos eu doniau yng ng?yl eleni. Os ydych yn ganwr, mewn band, comedïwr, bardd gair llafar, os ydych yn troi platiau, DJ, jyglo, neu'n gwneud rhywbeth nad ydym erioed wedi clywed amdano, hoffwn i chi ddod i fod yn rhan o'n g?yl i'r teulu a pherfformio i dros 2,000 o bobl yn ystod penwythnos Gladfest. Beth bynnag yw'ch talent – mae'r llwyfan gennym ni ac rydym am i chi berfformio arni. Noder, er nad oes gennym gyllideb i dalu am berfformiadau, mae digon o ysbryd yr ?yl gennym heb sôn am y te / coffi hollbwysig!

Rydym hefyd yn ceisio cyrraedd elusennau cofrestredig a fyddai'n hoffi safle yn yr ?yl er mwyn dweud wrth bobl am eu gwaith. Mae'r safleoedd yn rhad ac am ddim ond nodwch bydd rhaid i chi ddod a beth bynnag a fydd angen arnoch gyda chi – baneri, cadeiri, tablau – mae'r cynnig hwn am safle yn unig a ni fydd mynediad at drydan.

Os hoffech wneud cais am unrhyw un o'r uchod, cysylltwch â Louisa Yates ar 01244 532350 neu louisa.yates@gladlib.org.
