All-new Gladfest Fringe

This year we are proud to transform our back lawns into a creative hub with the launch of the Gladfest Fringe – a carefully curated space bustling with FREE performances and stalls. Music, storytelling and open-mic poetry are just some of the exciting sessions to look forward to and there will be makers workshops, stalls and choirs too. No tickets, no booking, and no charge – come and give it a try!

The Fringe is open from 10am on Saturday and Sunday, and you’ll also be able to grab hot and cold refreshments! Entry is completely free!

Keep an eye on this page for additions and updates to the Fringe programme. Please note that information on this page may differ from the printed programme. Information on this page is up to date.

We're on the hunt for family-friendly performers of all kinds to showcase their talents at this year’s festival. If you are a singer, in a band, a comedian, a spoken word poet, if you spin plates, DJ, juggle, or do something we’ve never even heard of, we want you to come and be a part of our family-friendly festival and perform to over 2,000 people across the Gladfest weekend. Whatever your talent – we have the stage and we want you to come and take it. Please note that although we do not have the budget to pay for performances, we do have festival spirit aplenty plus an all-important tea / coffee!

We’re also reaching out to registered charities who would like a pitch at the festival in order to tell people about their work. Pitches are completely free but please note you will need to bring whatever you need with you – banners, chairs, tables – this offer is for a pitch only and there will be no access to electricity.

If you are interested in applying for any of the above, please contact Jane Jones on 01244 532350 or jane.jones@gladlib.org.

Rydym yn edrych am berfformwyr o bob math a fydd yn addas i deuluoedd, i arddangos eu doniau yng ngwyl eleni. Os ydych yn ganwr, mewn band, comedïwr, bardd gair llafar, os ydych yn troi platiau, DJ, jyglo, neu'n gwneud rhywbeth nad ydym erioed wedi clywed amdano, hoffwn i chi ddod i fod yn rhan o'n gwyl i'r teulu a pherfformio i dros 2,000 o bobl yn ystod penwythnos Gladfest. Beth bynnag yw'ch talent – mae'r llwyfan gennym ni ac rydym am i chi berfformio arni. Noder, er nad oes gennym gyllideb i dalu am berfformiadau, mae digon o ysbryd yr wyl gennym heb sôn am y te / coffi hollbwysig!

Rydym hefyd yn ceisio cyrraedd elusennau cofrestredig a fyddai'n hoffi safle yn yr wyl er mwyn dweud wrth bobl am eu gwaith. Mae'r safleoedd yn rhad ac am ddim ond nodwch bydd rhaid i chi ddod a beth bynnag a fydd angen arnoch gyda chi – baneri, cadeiri, tablau – mae'r cynnig hwn am safle yn unig a ni fydd mynediad at drydan.

Os hoffech wneud cais am unrhyw un o'r uchod, cysylltwch â Jane Jones ar 01244 532350 neu jane.jones@gladlib.org.
