Explore Gladstone’s Library and get to know our Warden! The afternoon begins with a 30 minute talk, where Andrea will share some of the history of the Library and of its founder William Gladstone, and a little of how she came to be Warden here. This will be followed by a short tour of the Reading Rooms.
An Afternoon tea will then be served in our Food for Thought Restaurant. Enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, scones and dainty cakes and tea. Andrea will join the group for this convival tea to give everyone the chance to have further conversations and ask questions
There are free refills for tea/filter coffee so you can enjoy a relaxed and leisurely afternoon treat. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan versions of the Afternoon Tea are available. Please ensure you add any allergy/special dietary requirements into the information section when you purchase your ticket online.
